This soap would make any farm girl proud. A gentle scrub with wheat germ and cornmeal to get those hands clean. Basil and coriander essential oils have been added for their antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. Honey, glycerin, castor oil and vitamin E to keep skin moisturized. For the Farm Girl in us all!
You know, I wanted to make a soap that would make every farm boy proud. Now, it would have to have a little scrub so I put in some wheat germ and cornmeal. It would also have to have some herbs in there – so I threw in a little basil and then the essential oil of basil and coriander for their antibacterial and anti-fungal properties and to make them smell good. Now, for the chick farmers, an egg yolk from 'ole Clara wouldn't hurt a thing – lots of protein going on there. For the goat, sheep, and cow keepers some goat's milk and some heavy cream from Bossy ought to do the trick. Oh, and for the fence builders some honey, glycerin, caster oil, and vitamin E so their hands wouldn't be quite so dry and rough. Parable free, sulfate free, phthalates free – talk about a healthy soap! For the farmer boys in our lives!
Around here at Summit Hill, there is always yard work to do – plants to plant, sedum wreaths to make, gardens to plant, weeds to pull – plus other jobs that require some pretty aggressive soap to clean our hands. And after the grandkids walk barefoot in the garden, this bar does the trick. This bar has generous amount of pomace in the bar, yet it isn’t too rough on the skin. In fact, with the addition of the essential oil of peppermint, it’s rather a treat to use. Parable free, sulfate free, phthalates free – talk about a healthy soap for the working soul! I pomace!

Products are wonderful and Patsy is a talented and hard working crafter of soap, milk bath, products for dogs and much more.
I recently visited my daughter in Chanute and we went for coffee in Hombolt Kansas I believe was the name. She told me about a soup they sold at the coffee shop. I have cystic acne and I have a very hard time with it. Well I bought the flowers of sulfur soap and I love it! It's been a month and I do not want to run out! I contacted Patsy at summit hill and she was so helpful and is sending me 3 bars with free shipping. I am looking forward to using this soap for a long time!

Say no to all the chemicals you're exposing yourself to, trust me, I've learned through illness it's more than you realize. Toxic chemicals that make us sick and big business so cleverly disguise in their strategic marketing. They specifically target women because according to our culture we need to better everything about us and around us, so we buy products, lots of them. Summit Hill Gardens is my go to for no chemicals. I use Patsy's soaps as home fragrance, hair, face and body wash, they are at every sink, they are my dish soap and laundry detergent. I use them to enhance my world with luxury that is not just cleansing but actually therapeutic for my well being with the all natural ingredients. Anyone can make soap and call it "homemade", which is everywhere, especially now with so many things available online to throw together. However, no one has the knowledge and skill like Patsy to handcraft pure, all natural body care with the finest, high quality, specially researched ingredients. I worked with her from the beginning for years and I know how much passion she truly puts into her products. They are more than worth the cost. I wouldn't trust my severe sensitivities to anyone else!
I am loving the soaps I had shipped from Summit Hill Gardens recently! I grew up in Kansas but now live out of state. These scent of the soaps remind me of my family in Kansas. I also struggle with very dry skin that even cracks and bleeds sometimes. The handmade, gentle soaps never irritate my skin and keep my hands smelling nice. It's comforting to know they were made by loving hands at home and not in a factory in China somewhere. Thanks Summit Hill Gardens!

IN LOVE with EVERYTHING I have tried from Summit Hill Gardens! The black raspberry vanilla is my little girls' favorite scent and they actually look forward to bath time just to get to use the special "pretty" soap! Also, absolutely LOVING the orange cuticle butter, I have tried everything on the market and only wish I would have found this sooner! Really love the philosophy behind the soaps of being all natural and using minimal packaging, and of course being homemade in my hometown of Chanute, KS! Can't wait to come out and visit the shop soon!

My girls and I enjoyed going to Summit Hill yesterday. They were in love with smelling all the soap. We were all so excited to pick some and get home to use it. You have a beautiful place and you are always so kind!
I love this place. I love walking in the door and smelling the aroma of all the soaps. I absolutely love the patchouli dog soap. I love cuddling with my Bella after her bath and her patchouli smell. My girls love the clay face soap. The shave bars and lotion bars are awesome!
Love the Marsh Grass!!! Smells amazing! Such a refreshing soap!

I just love all the soaps and lotion I have used from Summit Hill Gardens!!!
My favorite is the Sweet Orange soap. It smells so good and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. I got some of this soap on a visit to Kansas and still order it online, since I live in North Carolina. It is wonderful stuff as are all the products at Summit Hill Gardens.
Wonderful shop, I love the soaps and vintage items!
In my younger years, I resisted using my mothers soap. Now that I'm older, its all I use! When I use these soaps, I don't have to worry about harmful chemicals irritating my skin. I prefer the Lime and the Coconut for daily excursions, and the Diesel for special occasions!
I can't remember now how many years ago I first purchased soap from Summit Hill Gardens, but I can tell you I never went back to store bought. I just love going out to the shop and wandering around smelling all of them and seeing what's new. My absolute favorite is patchouli. I also love the special scents around the holidays. The whole experience is tops in my "favorite things to do on a Saturday" list. I highly recommend making the trip to Summit Hill Gardens, you won't regret it!
The hand cream just melts into these dry winter hands. Anything to stop those dry weather cracks that hurt so badly. My favorite?? Patchouli, without a doubt!
One of my favorites is the lotion bar. In the winter my hands get real cracked from washing them so often in cold water. The lotion bar always heals them right up!!! It's a must have!!!
My personal favorite is the vanilla bar soap. This soap is all natural and leaves my skin smelling fantastic for hours after use. For exfoliating purposes, I love to use the fruity body scrub! It smells AMAZING and leaves your skin incredibly smooth. All of the soaps in the store are natural so I know that anything I use will be gentle enough for me and my newborn son but also effective at getting us fresh and clean!
These soaps and lotions are by far the best! I love the cucumber bar and the wound healing ointment works wonders on a multitude of areas. I will not use anything else to cleanse my sensitive face! Her sulfur and clay bars were heaven sent when my teen girls dealt with acne. Cleared it right up! I've referred many friends to Patsy. She is the greatest person to do business with. You will not be disappointed in the quality or the service.

Summit Hill's clay bar is the only soap I have ever found that truly helps my troubled skin! Blemishes clear up just a few days after using it. I stock up on this soap and try not to be without it. Summit Hill has so many unique products that work so well for skin issues. I have friends overseas that specifically requested that I send them soaps from Summit Hill. No joke.
